Compensation: The BACB uses compensation data for the metro Denver labor market to ensure our positions provide a competitive wage. The salary for this position may vary and may be above or below the posted salary based on an individuals experience and/or education. The salary listed is just one component of the BACB's total compensation package for employees which includes a generous benefits package.
The rate for this position is $26.00 to $26.75/hour. The schedule for this role will average 48-50 hours a week resulting in 8-10 hours of weekly overtime.

Position Summary: This position is responsible for ensuring employees and visitors comply with BACB security policies and the buildings and property are safe and secure. A focus on customer care and being people centric is a must.

- Routinely walks buildings and campus to verify security features are working properly.
- Monitors surveillance cameras.
- Answers doorbells, interacts with visitors, and takes appropriate action.
- Assist with sensitive employee interactions.
- Assist with employee engagement events.
- Assist with coordination of campus safety activities and training.
- Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Experience and Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a security position.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with video monitoring systems.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
Employment Authorization: Candidates must have the ability to work unrestricted in the U.S. The BACB does not offer visa sponsorship of any kind. Successful completion of a background check is required after the offer of employment. The BACB uses the E-Verify system during the hiring process to confirm employment eligibility to work in the United States.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, video monitoring and video conferencing.
Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to perform routine campus inspections, including buildings and property and respond to employee incidents in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments. The employee must be able to:
- Listen and speak.
- Type frequently.
- Walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Perform campus inspections that requires navigating inclines, stairs, ramps, and uneven surfaces.
- Run or move quickly when responding to emergencies.
- Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach as needed to perform safety-related duties.
- Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Maintain visual acuity and hearing sufficient to observe surroundings, identify potential safety concerns, and communicate effectively.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a regular full-time IN PERSON position with required overtime. The schedule will typically be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 7am-5:30pm and Wednesday 7am-3:30pm with occasional variation, evening, holidays, and/or weekend work due to operational needs.

Travel: Minimal travel is expected for this position.
