Jaxon Engineering is looking for an Electrical Foreman to join our team. The successful candidate will be an effective team player, possess an ability to work across interdepartmental teams, and be able to interface and communicate effectively with personnel, customers, program management, and corporate leadership. He or she will provide operational oversight of projects and teams: focused on scheduling, purchasing, asset and manpower allocation, and budget management. The selected candidate will empower those around them while stretching performance standards for themself and others. Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a DoD Secret and/or Top-Secret security clearance
Salary: $80,000-$95,000
Travel: This position requires the ability to travel as necessary.

Project Leadership and Coordination:
-Works with all teams by attending meetings and coordination sessions to define project
-Meets with clients to discuss project requirements and progress
-No direct reports, but responsible for project coordination and field leadership support
-Responsible for multiple concurrent projects
-Balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on execution
-Institute best practices, proper materials, equipment consumables, etc.
-Develop, review and modify travelers to ensure shop floor leads are set up for success
Scheduling and Resource Allocation:
-Responsible for project schedules
-Maintains a minimum 3-4 week project scheduling perspective
-Monitors and generates milestones for team members and adjusts schedules as needed
-Maintains awareness and ownership of 1-3 months of manpower, space, equipment, and materials
-Coordinates with procurement team to acquire materials and achieve delivery schedules
-Works with internal departments to achieve and forecast project schedules
-Communicates delays, schedule risks, and impacts to project management team
Fabrication and Production Support:
-Creates and completes travelers and reviews them with the execution team
-Works with shop floor leads, electricians and other foremen to resolve fabrication and production issues
-Coordinates with subcontractors internally and externally
Quality, Safety and Compliance:
-Responsible for teams adhering to ISO 9001 compliance requirements
-Maintains traceability documentation requirements through project lifecycle
-Identifies and tracks reworks, nonconformance logging, and redline drawing updates
-Works with Safety Team to develop and enforce safety plans (AHA's, PPE reqs, and compliance tracking)
Contract and Project Management:
-Understands project's contractual agreements
-Identifies and communicates scope creep or potential change order items
-Works with project teams to ensure final documentation and reports are submitted
-Contributes to closeout meetings with performance reviews and learned lessons
Availability to travel on short notice
4+ years electrical experience
Journeyman's or Master's License
Technical Competencies:
-Conduct drawing reviews, material takeoffs, and site surveys. Work with design for correct electrical, config/NEC standard
-Proposal development and ROM pricing
-RFI development
-OpenAir and Microsoft Suite
-BOM review
-Quote review, validation and request
