- With any overtime, we prefer volunteers. In addition, to support life-work-life, we limit scheduled Saturday work to no more than two weekends in a row.
- We understand the importance of time with family, friends, and personal rest. That’s why Sunday has been generally reserved for maintenance tasks only with volunteers. Our team-members typically have Sundays off to recharge and enjoy time outside of work.
- At WTU, we value your time — both on the job and off. Whether you work a 5x8 schedule or a 4x10 schedule (limited availability in some areas like welding and machining), we aim to keep overtime reasonable and predictable. When we don’t have enough volunteers, we may need to post or assign overtime, but we always try to minimize this ability and communicate clearly.
