We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Member Support Associate to help deliver exceptional experiences for our members and program participants. This role serves as a key point of contact for members and prospective members, providing outstanding customer service, answering inquiries, maintaining member records, and supporting day-to-day member engagement operations.

Job Duties:

  • Provide exceptional member support consistent with the YMCA's commitment to being the "Most Welcoming Place."
  • Respond promptly and professionally to member and customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Build relationships with prospective and current members to foster engagement and connection.
  • Provide information regarding memberships, programs, schedules, registrations, and YMCA services.
  • Maintain knowledge of YMCA programs, policies, mission, and values.
  • Document, escalate, and follow up on member concerns, questions, feedback, and suggestions.
  • Accurately verify, update, and maintain member information within YMCA systems and databases.
  • Manage electronic task systems, work queues, and administrative responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain reliable attendance, punctuality, and schedule adherence.
  • Participate in team meetings, organizational events, and training opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 12 months of customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong computer, software, web, and mobile application skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • YMCA Risk Manager Training must be completed prior to the first day of employment.

Preferred

  • Remote customer service experience.
  • Interest and availability to support seasonal Roadshow Marketing assignments, including representing the YMCA at in-person community events during the Spring through Fall season.

Schedule:

  • Wednesdays & Thursdays: 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM
  • Alternating Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Sundays: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Job Type: Part-Time


Pay: $15.00 per hour. Plus, access to YMCA facilities (gym, pool, ect.) for all YMCA employees, Employee Assistance Program, and Sick Leave
