Position: Contract Prospect Research Assistant

Departmental Role: Strengthen the HQ organization, so it provides the most effective and efficient support and resources to Affiliates.
Position Summary: Under the direction of the Development Operations Manager, the Temporary Prospect Research Assistant will assist in a Network-wide prospect research program, compiling research data using fundraising research tools as well as Salesforce. Responsibilities may expand to general administrative support for the department as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare data for prospect research screenings
- Compile individual and institutional prospect research reports
- Working with the Development Operations team, merge duplicate Salesforce records to create a duplicate-free donor database
- Miscellaneous administrative tasks
Job Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior bulk data entry & cleanup project experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suites and SharePoint
- Speed and accuracy under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Discretion to work with confidential donor information
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the fundraising environment
- Knowledge of fundraising research tools, such as iWave and Candid
- Prior Salesforce experience
Pay Rate: $25 per hour (40 Hour work weeks)
