Position Summary
Alliance for Community Transformations is seeking a compassionate, organized, and mission-driven Program Specialist/Receptionist to provide administrative, advocacy, and program support across multiple service areas. This position plays a key role in ensuring quality services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other victims of crime while supporting volunteers, legal advocacy, crisis response, outreach, and day-to-day office operations.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and support the agency's volunteer program, including recruitment, training, scheduling, supervision, and recognition
- Provide administrative and office support, including reception, data entry, client intake assistance, and document preparation
- Assist legal advocates by supporting survivors through restraining orders, court accompaniment, referrals, and community resource navigation
- Respond to crisis calls and provide trauma-informed advocacy, safety planning, referrals, and follow-up services
- Maintain accurate client records, database entries, and program reports to meet grant and agency requirements
- Assist with outreach events, presentations, prevention education, and community engagement activities
- Support fundraising efforts, donor relations, and other special projects as assigned

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to complete the required 40-hour Domestic Violence and 40-hour Sexual Assault Counselor training upon hire
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed

- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform the physical requirements of an office and client-service environment
