Job Summary:
Ensure the timely flow of materials, parts and supplies across departments to maintain production schedules and operational efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor inventory levels, track incoming orders, and ensure materials are delivered on time to meet production or project schedules
· Contact suppliers, place orders, verify shipments, and resolve supply, quality, or invoicing issues
· Review production schedules, assign materials and staff, and expedite materials to prevent delays
· Maintain records of deliveries, generate progress reports, and report on shortages, substitutions, or schedule modifications
· Verify incoming materials against specifications, inspect for damage, and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
· Act as a liaison between departments such as procurement, production, and warehousing to ensure smooth operations
· All other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to manage multiple orders, schedules, and projects simultaneously
· Strong verbal and written communication for coordinating with suppliers and employee
· Familiarity with inventory management, supply chain software, and logistics processes
· Ability to proactively troubleshoot delays, shortages, or supply chain disruptions
Required Education and Experience:
· High degree or equivalent is required. An Associate’s degree in a related field is preferred· 2-4 years related experience in manufacturing is required
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to sit for long periods of time
