Summary/Objective
Acts as a liaison between staff, physicians and US Digestive Health leadership team. Works in a supervisory capacity to ensure provision of excellent patient care. Oversees office procedures and protocols. Works with the US Digestive Health leadership team and physicians in addressing any identified problems and ensuring ongoing performance improvement. Provides and coordinates staff training and monitors and evaluates staff performance. Uses clinical knowledge and experience in both the training and providing of excellent patient care.

Supervisory Responsibility
Supervises Medical Assistants, Clerical Staff, other supervisory staff within the office. May include providing instructions, reviewing work, assigning work, assessing performance, and disciplining employees.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Full Time/ Monday-Friday, at least 40 hours per week/Day shift

Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in a medical office clinical and supervisory experience, required.
- Medical terminology knowledge, required.
- Experience with electronic medical record system with the ability to troubleshoot, required
- Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel, intermediate level required
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer
