Description

 

Position Summary

The Director of Revenue Cycle & Business Operations is a hands-on leadership role responsible for strengthening the organization's healthcare billing and collections function while building reliable operational systems for continued growth. The position will lead day-to-day revenue cycle performance, improve accounts receivable and cash flow, develop actionable reporting, and guide billing-system implementation and optimization.

As the organization grows, this leader may also support selected organizational-development initiatives in partnership with Human Resources and executive leadership. Success requires a practical operator who can analyze performance, solve workflow problems, establish accountability, and move comfortably between detailed billing work and broader business improvement.

Requirements

 

One to three years of progressive experience in healthcare billing, collections, revenue cycle, reimbursement, or a closely related healthcare operations function.

Demonstrated ability to analyze accounts receivable, resolve billing issues, and improve follow-up processes.

Experience using healthcare billing, practice-management, electronic health record, or related financial systems.

Strong spreadsheet, reporting, and data-analysis skills, with the ability to explain findings clearly to leaders and non-financial partners.

Strong project ownership, organization, communication, judgment, and follow-through.

Ability to handle confidential financial, employee, and business information appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in home care, home health, disability services, HCBS, or another multi-payer healthcare environment.

Experience with denial management, payer follow-up, software implementation, KPI dashboard development, or process improvement.

Prior team leadership, project leadership, or responsibility for holding others accountable to deadlines and performance standards.

Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, finance, accounting, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Salary Description
$70,000 - $80,000
