The Program Manager oversees residential and community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. What You'll Do
As a Program Manager, you will:
- Conduct regular home visits to monitor service quality and individual satisfaction
- Review medication administration records, daily documentation, and attendance records for accuracy and compliance
- Complete monthly summaries, treatment plans, and required program documentation
- Monitor personal funds records to ensure accountability and compliance
- Review and approve staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage
- Provide guidance, training, and support to direct support staff
- Attend administrative meetings, planning meetings, and required trainings
- Collect and analyze program data and prepare reports as needed
- Represent New Purpose at community events and outreach activities
- Work directly within assigned homes to support staff and individuals served
What a Typical Day May Look Like
No two days are exactly alike, but a typical day may include:
- Visiting residential homes and meeting with individuals receiving services
- Reviewing documentation and medication records
- Coaching and supporting staff members
- Participating in care planning meetings with families and support teams
- Monitoring program compliance and quality assurance activities
- Reviewing schedules and addressing staffing needs
- Completing reports, summaries, and treatment plan updates
- Collaborating with leadership to improve service delivery
- Representing New Purpose in the community

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Human Services, or a related field
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- CPR and First Aid Certification, or ability to obtain
- Ability to complete Medication Administration Certification requirements
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
- Ability to pass required background screenings and training requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to travel regularly and work flexible hours when needed
