Description
Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Management
- Oversee all daily shipping and receiving operations for parts and materials
- Inspect, verify, and process incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists
- Prepare, pack, label, and schedule outbound shipments accurately and on time
- Maintain organized warehouse/storage areas and ensure proper inventory control
- Track inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and update records in the system
- Coordinate with purchasing, sales, and operations teams regarding part availability and order status
- Manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and delivery confirmations
- Resolve discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages promptly
Driving & Delivery/Pickup Duties
- Safely operate company vehicle to deliver parts to customers and pick up parts from suppliers or other locations
- Plan efficient routes for daily deliveries and pickups
- Load and unload parts carefully, securing cargo properly
- Obtain signatures and complete delivery/pickup documentation
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle
- Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or incidents immediately
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers during deliveries and pickups
Additional Duties
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, or logistics roles preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good communication and customer service skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry materials throughout the shift
- Comfortable driving for extended periods and working in warehouse conditions
