We’re currently seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional to step into a pivotal role in a high-energy, customer-focused environment.


As the Assistant General Manager, you will support the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the tavern, ensuring excellence in guest service, team management, and operational efficiency. You will be a key leader, helping to drive culture, standards, and performance.


Responsibilities of the Assistant Manager Include:

  • Assist in the management of all front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Lead, train, and motivate staff to uphold Dire Wolf Tavern’s standards of hospitality.
  • Monitor daily performance and support the implementation of systems to improve team productivity and accountability.
  • Maintain operational controls including inventory, food and beverage cost, labor, and supplies.
  • Help manage scheduling, payroll, and staff development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure alignment between kitchen and front-of-house.
  • Act as manager-on-duty in the absence of the General Manager.
  • Address guest concerns with urgency and professionalism

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role (AGM or FOH manager experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and inspire teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of restaurant operations and guest service best practices.
  • Experience with POS systems, labor management tools, and basic financial reporting.
