Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Mental Health Clinician for an outpatient behavioral health opportunity in Canton, Illinois. This position offers meaningful clinical work with patients across the lifespan while maintaining a structured weekday schedule designed to protect evenings and weekends.
New graduates and experienced clinicians are welcome.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Mental Health Clinician will provide outpatient therapy to patients of all ages, primarily treating individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and trauma using evidence-based approaches.
The position offers strong clinical support, a manageable daily caseload, and no on-call responsibilities.
SCHEDULE & WORK-LIFE BALANCE
• Monday–Friday Schedule
• One Weekly Late Day – Thursday, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM
• No Call
• No Weekends
• No Overnight/Night Schedule
• Approximately 6–8 Patients per Day
OUTPATIENT BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
The clinician will provide relationship-based outpatient therapy to patients across the lifespan. Primary clinical needs include:
• Depression
• Anxiety
• Trauma
• Behavioral Health Concerns Across the Lifespan
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide outpatient behavioral health therapy
• Work with patients across the lifespan
• Assess behavioral health needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions
• Support patients experiencing depression, anxiety, and trauma
• Maintain an outpatient therapy caseload
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely
• Collaborate with the clinical team
• Participate in coordinated patient care
• Maintain a patient-centered and relationship-focused approach
PATIENT VOLUME
The expected daily patient volume is approximately 6–8 patients per day, allowing clinicians to provide focused outpatient behavioral healthcare within a structured clinical environment.
EMR
The practice utilizes SmartCare Streamline for electronic clinical documentation.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• $50,000–$62,000 Annual Salary, Based on Experience
