Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the enhancement, implementation, and sustainment of IT applications supporting the FMxC2 system and associated missions.

The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with users, technical teams, and Air Force stakeholders to analyze complex business and system requirements, define system scope and objectives, document functional requirements, and identify solutions that improve mission and operational effectiveness.

This position requires extensive knowledge of FMxC2/G081 and associated modules and interfaces, along with strong systems analysis, requirements management, process improvement, and Agile software development experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems, processes, and user needs to ensure technology solutions align with overall business and mission requirements.
  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs, business systems, and applicable industry requirements.
  • Analyze complex business and technical challenges and recommend procedures or system modifications that address operational requirements and technology constraints.
  • Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and user requirements, including detailed system requirement specifications.
  • Develop detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, workflows, and requirements necessary to develop or modify applications.
  • Evaluate the business implications of technology solutions within current and future operating environments.
  • Coordinate with Air Force-led agencies to enhance and implement common systems used to capture, access, and display critical logistics information from source transactional systems.
  • Facilitate requirements enhancement, operations, and sustainment activities for prototype applications, models, and databases.
  • Identify optimal solutions for system integration concepts, challenges, and requirements.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities related to logistics and FMxC2 operations and recommend courses of action to improve system efficiency.
  • Identify system changes necessary to support military and commercial logistics requirements, including OEM support.
  • Support FMxC2/MAF LOG C2, Global Reach, and Logistics Evaluation Assessment Program (LEAP) system requirements.
  • Identify and manage FMxC2/G081 enhancements supporting air-to-ground communication processes and mission generation capabilities.
  • Provide Tier 1 end-user support, as required.
  • Guide and advise less-experienced Business Systems Analysts.
Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with FMxC2/G081 and associated modules and interfaces.
  • Experience with systems and interfaces such as:
    • GDSS
    • Global Reach
    • ETIMS
    • IETM
    • EMOC
    • LEAP
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing business and user needs and translating those needs into documented system requirements and specifications.
  • Experience supporting complex systems analysis at a senior or advanced technical level.
  • Experience identifying business process improvements and recommending technology-enabled solutions.
  • Experience working with system integration concepts, applications, databases, and operational requirements.
  • Agile software development experience and training.
  • Thorough knowledge of Agile principles and values.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, end users, government stakeholders, and other cross-functional partners.
