Larson Automotive Group is looking for an HR Generalist / Onboarding & Employee Experience Specialist to join our Human Resources team.


This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships, solving problems, and helping employees succeed. Previous HR experience is helpful, but we're willing to train someone who brings strong communication skills, professionalism, organization, and a genuine desire to support others.


What You'll Get

What You'll Do 

  • Coordinate and conduct new-hire onboarding and orientation 
  • Create a welcoming and positive experience for new employees 
  • Assist employees with onboarding paperwork and required documentation 
  • Introduce employees to company policies, benefits, resources, and workplace expectations 
  • Help create a positive employee experience by building relationships and supporting employees throughout their first several months with Larson.
  • Conduct 30-, 60-, and 90-day employee check-ins 
  • Answer employee questions and connect team members with the appropriate HR resources 
  • Maintain confidential employee records and onboarding documentation 
  • Track onboarding requirements and follow up on outstanding items 
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, employee communications, training, and HR projects 
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and company programs

Requirements

 

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus. 
  • Previous experience in Human Resources, onboarding, recruiting, administration, customer service, hospitality, management, or another people-focused role is preferred but not required. 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships. 
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee information. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams) and comfortable learning new software and HR systems. 
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through with the ability to complete work accurately and on time. 
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with managers and team members across multiple departments. 
  • Must be able to communicate professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
