The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a Family Medicine Physician provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Waterloo, Iowa! This role performs primary care to the community providing a mix of well visits, acute care, & chronic disease management throughout the age spectrum.

The largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations.
With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof.
Role Details:
- Clinic Hours: Mon, Tues, Fri 8am-5pm & Wed, Thur 8am-8pm
- Schedule: 5 day work week with 1 evening per week (11:30a-8p); light call schedule with 1:6 nights/weekends for outpatient, Urgent Care, & rural patients
- Sees on average 12-14 patients per day
- Provider team includes: 5 physicians (including the Co-Medical Director), 6 Nurse Practitioners, 2 Physician Assistant. This location also includes an OB clinic with 1 OB-GYN and 1 Certified Nurse Midwife

- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of residency program
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Iowa
