JOB SUMMARY
The Commercial Expeditor is responsible for coordinating and supporting the successful execution of commercial flooring projects from project startup through installation completion and billing. The Commercial Expeditor manages project documentation, material procurement, installer support, scheduling coordination, and project closeout activities while maintaining accurate records within company systems and ensuring a high level of customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
This position reports to the Operations Manager and works Monday to Friday office hours with options for a hybrid schedule between remote/work-at-home and our Fishers, IN location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Enter new projects into M3 and RFMS systems.
- Establish and maintain accurate project files and documentation.
- Submit purchasing requests for flooring materials, supplies, and accessories.
- Track purchase orders and vendor acknowledgments.
- Coordinate material deliveries with warehouse personnel and vendors.
- Collaborate with the Scheduling Department to coordinate installation activities.
- Communicate with Field Inspectors regarding site conditions and project readiness.
- Assist in identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts to minimize project delays.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for installers throughout project execution.
- Process installer work order tickets and supporting documentation.
- Review completed work orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Submit completed projects for billing in a timely manner.
- Assist the Accounting Department with billing questions and project-related documentation.
- Follow and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of clerical experience in project coordination, sales support, purchasing, scheduling, or a related field.
- Experience working with ERP, project management, or flooring industry software preferred.
- Previous work experience using Microsoft Office applications as a daily requirement.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds without restriction and on a regular basis.
- Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing for training and project updates and to independently handle external and internal requests.
- Math skills acquired through high school diploma or equivalent to manage order quantities and understand measurements, billing, and customer payments and related financial transactions.

- Ability to sit at computer monitor for long periods throughout the day.
- Must possess the ability to stand for long periods of time; to reach with hands and arms; to move among and between offices; to handle mail and documents; to sit, stoop, kneel and crouch; to lift and move up to 10 pounds; to see well enough to discern differences in quality of documents and files.
