PAY RANGE: $56,046.00 - $93,410.00
REPORTS TO: Executive Manager of Operations
JOB LOCATION: 2225 E Common St, New Braunfels, TX 78130
SUMMARY
This position provides high-level, confidential administrative support to the Executive Manager of Operations. Responsibilities include preparing and submitting required reports to state agencies, processing contracts and permits, compiling operational data, coordinating board materials, and supporting additional Operations leadership as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative guidance and support to the Executive Manager of Operations.
- Provide assistance and act as backup to the Utility Accounts Assistant.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and work products.
- Coordinate with General Counsel staff to prepare board materials.
- Prepare and submit reports to the TCEQ Water Master and other state agencies.
- Compile information and complete annual reports for the Texas Water Development Board.
- Receive, track, and process contracts for agricultural water and boat dock permits.
- Draft and manage correspondence for the Executive Manager.
- Manage phone calls, scheduling, and meeting coordination for the Executive Manager.
- Collaborate positively with GBRA staff and maintain professional working relationships.
- Maintain an organized and professional workspace.
- Organize internal and external events or staff meetings.
- Monitor and help prioritize incoming emails or communications.
- Coordinate signature routing, approvals, or document workflow processes.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned or as business needs change.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Ability to travel within the service area as needed.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret technical documents.
- Proficiency with standard office technology and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Ability to produce accurate, timely work while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
- Education: High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
- Certifications/Licenses: Valid Texas Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant or Administrative Assistant.
