Hourly, 1099 Contract Role
Location: Sun Valley, CA
Rock Global is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Project Manager to support our Studio Team in executing a variety of short- and long-term projects that enhance our studio operations, expand services, and support business development.
The Role: This is a project-based position focused on implementation and will be expected to personally execute tasks as well as drive work forward. The Project Manager will coordinate multiple concurrent projects, execute tasks, maintain schedules and documentation, facilitate communication among stakeholders, and ensure projects continue moving forward on time and within scope. Success in this role requires exceptional organization, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do:
Project Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate multiple studio development and operational projects simultaneously.
- Complete project tasks, research, and deliverables when needed
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and action-item trackers.
- Monitor project timelines, identify potential delays, and proactively communicate risks.
- Coordinate meetings with internal departments, tenants, vendors, consultants, and external partners.
- Document meeting notes, decisions, and follow-up actions to ensure accountability.
- Maintain organized project files, documentation, and reporting.
- Support project implementation from planning through completion.
Executive Project Support
- Prepare agendas, meeting materials and presentations.
- Track deliverables and follow up with project owners to ensure commitments are completed.
- Compile project updates and prepare recurring status reports for executive leadership.
Studio Development & Operations Support
- Assist with projects supporting studio sales, operations, facility improvements, and new service offerings.
- Gather research, project data, budgets, and supporting information for decision-making.
- Support implementation of new operational processes, systems, and initiatives.
- Maintain project budget tracking, schedules, and documentation as assigned.
What You Bring :
- 3+ years of experience in project management, business operations, consulting, executive support, or a related strategic operations role required.
- Experience in live events, studio management, or related field highly recommended
- Experience with project management platforms such as Monday.com, Asana, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel include dynamic spreadsheets, complex formulas, pivot tables, charts and dashboards, required.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint presentation design skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Experience coordinating executive meetings, calendars, and travel.
- Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to execute hands-on work directly (not solely delegate, monitor, or report on others' progress).
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Frequent use of manual dexterity to type, access files, and handle supplies
- Prolonged periods of sitting, stationary work, and looking at computer screens
