The Quality and Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting the agency's (Judevine Center for Autism) quality assurance efforts through ongoing monitoring of documentation, audit activities, data tracking, and compliance oversight. This position will work alongside the Director of Quality Assurance and Compliance, Hub Directors, and Assistant Directors to ensure service documentation is completed accurately and timely, records remain audit-ready, and quality indicators are effectively monitored throughout the agency.
The Quality and Compliance Specialist will assist in identifying areas of improvement related to documentation practices, compliance requirements, and quality outcomes while supporting ongoing readiness for internal and external reviews.
$55,000 annually; Commensurate with experience
- Strong understanding of documentation standards, quality assurance practices, and compliance requirements within Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities services.
- Ability to identify documentation deficiencies and communicate findings professionally and effectively.
- Ability to organize, analyze, and report quality and compliance data.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Directors, Assistant Directors, and program staff.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be willing to travel throughout the state.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Healthcare Administration, Special Education, or related field.
Expertise: Working knowledge of documentation requirements, Medicaid standards, quality assurance practices, and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Experience with Set-works (data-based system) preferred.
Experience: At least two years of experience in developmental disabilities, case management, quality assurance, program administration, or a related field. Experience reviewing documentation, conducting audits, or tracking compliance data preferred.
