Hours are non-negotiable Core 10 hours: 5:00AM-3:30PM. All employees need to be available between the hours of 5AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday. Fridays will be required when overtime is needed.


BASIC FUNCTION: 


Assembles various units according to production specifications.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES:


Reads machine tags, standard parts list, production orders, and blueprints.


Retrieves parts.


  Moves units to and from work stations.


Operates various equipment and machinery.


Assembles various subassemblies (i.e. shells, condensers, power blocks, etc.).


Performs various assembly operations (i.e. assembling, soldering, wiring, mechanical, electrical, brazing, etc.).


Inspects unit and parts to verify conformance to print specifications and insure quality standards are met.



OTHER DUTIES:


Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.


Maintains cleanliness of work area and follows safe work practice rules.


Performs other miscellaneous duties as required.

Internal: Infrequent (1-5%)

Little or no contacts except with immediate co-workers.


External: Infrequent (1-5%)

Little or no contacts.






Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:


Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED).


Experience: One year related work experience. 


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


Manual Dexterity: Work requires regular speed and accuracy for most of the working day.


Physical Effort: Work requires a considerable variety of fairly steady active physical exertion. 


Working Conditions: More frequent exposure to disagreeable features. 


Hazards: Injury may require a doctor's care. Time lost for part of a day may be to receive medical treatment.
