Job Summary:

The Leasing Associate is responsible for the leasing and marketing of available rental homes throughout the portfolio. Providing excellent customer service and maintaining positive prospective resident relations. 


 

Position Details:

  • Full-Time Position
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Compensation: $26.00-$28.00/hr

Requirements

 Essential Job Functions – Position Requirements

  • Respond to all email and phone inquiries within 2 business hours.
  • Review and process completed applications within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Calculate and verify income, rental history, and credit reports.
  • Generate and explain lease agreements to future residents.
  • Schedule showings with prospective residents.
  • Create and update market analyses for new leases and renewals.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, rent increases, and rent caps.
  • Execute marketing activities to drive traffic to the property, including ad language, photos, video tours, and signage.
  • Use ShowMojo, AppFolio Guest Cards, Craigslist, and other websites to generate and manage showings.
  • Ensure property grounds and units meet Company standards for show quality. Communicate maintenance needs to the team and supervisor.
  • Arrive 10 minutes early for showings to ensure the unit is show-ready.
  • Follow up with prospects and new residents by email, text, or phone to finalize leasing decisions and ensure resident satisfaction.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in scattered-site property management, with customer service or sales experience.
  • Strong knowledge of computers, technology, and cloud-based software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
  • AppFolio experience preferred.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations.
  • Dependable transportation.
  • Weekend availability is required.
Salary Description
$26.00-$28.00/hr
