HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR

 

The Human Resources Coordinator is a key member of our HR team, supporting an exceptional employee experience from recruitment through the employment lifecycle. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides timely and knowledgeable guidance to employees regarding employment-related programs, policies, and procedures, escalating complex or sensitive matters appropriately.
  • Serves as HRIS administrator, maintaining system configuration, user access, workflows, and data integrity across modules and other HR platforms; proactively identifies discrepancies, troubleshoots issues, processes updates, and implements corrections to ensure employee data remains accurate and complete.
  • Provides day-to-day technical support and guidance to employees and managers using HR systems; generates, analyzes, and interprets HR reports to support HR and Bank-wide decision-making. 
  • Prepares, processes, and submits biweekly and unscheduled payrolls in coordination with the HR team, ensuring timecard data and employee changes are accurate and complete.
  • Completes post-payroll reporting and reconciliations, researching and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Supports the recruitment process from posting through interview coordination, helping create a positive and responsive candidate experience.
  • Owns the administrative components of pre-boarding and onboarding, ensuring new hire requirements, documentation, systems access, and other onboarding activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Serves as a responsive point of contact for pre-boarding and onboarding questions.
  • Participates in new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
  • Serves as backup administrator for learning management system (LMS) and coursework.
  • Coordinates scheduling and logistics for internal training programs.
  • Supports the administration of employee benefits including enrollments, changes, terminations, and annual open enrollment process. 
  • Assists with leave administration; maintains knowledge of applicable state and federal leave requirements and the integration of available benefit programs.
  • Administers and promotes the Bank’s wellness program, including challenges, webinars, discounts, and carrier reimbursements.
  • Analyzes wellness participation data and metrics to monitor engagement and progress toward annual goals.
  • Partners with the HR team to coordinate and deliver the annual internship program.
  • Supports employee engagement, recognition initiatives, employee events, and other employee experience programs.
  • Publishes HR-related communications and resources on the Bank’s intranet.
  • Manages HR vendor administration, including monthly invoices, account reconciliations, vendor management activities and user access reporting.
  • Maintains required federal and state employment postings and HR records.
  • Prepares and files required regulatory reports, including EEO-1 and VETS-4212.
  • Supports HR audits by gathering, validating, and organizing requested information.
  • Files workers’ compensation claims and related audits.
  • Completes employment verification requests.
  • Identifies opportunities for efficiencies through automation, self-service tools, system workflows, reporting, and improved documentation while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, compliance, and a positive employee experience.
  • Performs all responsibilities in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, Bank policies, and established internal controls.

The pay range provided reflects the established budget for this position and represents what the Bank reasonably expects to pay at the time of posting. The final offer will depend on various factors, including relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred; or associate’s degree with relevant experience.
  • 1-3 years of human resources experience in an administrative or coordinator role preferred.
  • Experience with integrated HR systems and maintaining employee data, workflows, reporting and system accuracy; previous experience with Paylocity preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HR operations, best practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel capabilities, and familiar with AI-enabled workplace tools.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis.

Salary Description
$60,000-$67,000 per year
