Description
- Support the Systems Engineering team in managing and executing systems engineering processes to ensure continuity across the SFRC.
- Assist in the management of LTRS requirements, including the use of requirements management tools.
- Support the development and management of architectural documents for the LTRS architecture baselines.
- Assist in performing architectural analysis at the system and subsystem levels, including assessing impacts to technical baselines.
- Support the Test & Evaluation (T&E) program by assisting in the planning, execution, and reporting of T&E activities for LTRS modifications and new systems.
- Assist in performing requirements analysis, decomposition, and allocation from the system level to the component level.
- Support the development of acquisition documentation (e.g., SOO, SOW, PWS) and assist in Request for Proposal (RFP) development.
- Provide support for launch operations as required.

Requirements
Minimum Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) or similar field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or a related technical field.
- Flexibility to work occasional non-standard hours or weekends to support mission requirements.
- Though this position does not require frequent travel, the ability to travel is required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance (requires U.S. citizenship).
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Jama, or DOORS Next Generation.
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo.
- Experience with work management tools such as Jira.
- Familiarity with any aspect of the systems engineering lifecycle (Requirements, Architecture, Test & Evaluation).
- Previous Range operations support experience.
Salary and Other Compensation
The annual starting salary for this position is between $80,000 to $90,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
