POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a full-time salaried position that is responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Director. The Executive Assistant works closely with the Executive Director and Leadership Team to help with the execution of projects that align with the established strategic framework to ensure high quality service delivery, and compliance with State and Federal regulations. This role is responsible for marketing and development of communications both internally and externally to effectively communicate the mission, values, and goals of Central Aroostook Association with a variety of audiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative Support – Writing and editing letters, memos, and other communications on the executive’s behalf. Gathering, preparing, and distributing information for meetings. Answering and directing phone calls for the Association, organizing meetings, sending reminders, welcoming visitors and directing them to their destination.
Record Keeping – Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records.
Digital Communication – Developing and regularly updating information on the Association’s website and social media communications.
Photography and Videography – Taking photos for Association programs to be used in social media and Association publications.
Organizational Communications – Develop materials such as brochures, banners, posters, newsletters, promotional advertisements, etc.
Reporting – Collect information and data related to organization operations and report to relevant stakeholders.
Culture – Promote the organizational culture and core values of the Association at both internal and external levels.
Other – Represent the organization at community events as assigned. Assist the Leadership Team with projects that support the objectives of Central Aroostook Association’s Strategic Framework.

Work is performed primarily in a business office environment. Noise level is quiet to moderate the majority of the time. Must be able to endure stress with a heavy workload and deadlines, with extra hours needed from time to time.

Education Requirements: The following education requirements are considered essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field, or the equivalent in education and closely related work experience, preferred.
