JOB SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, order preparation, and the scheduling and coordination of crews. This role ensures daily orders are staged, loaded, and distributed accurately and on time while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards. The Warehouse Manager supervises warehouse staff, schedules and assigns crews, supports the development of new crews, and partners closely with sales and administrative teams to troubleshoot issues and keep operations running smoothly. This position also supports quality assurance with crew teams and may assist with material ordering as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Oversee and manage all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, order prep and staging, installer scheduling and shipping
  • Assign work orders to crews for maximum efficiency and client success
  • Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff to ensure productivity, accuracy, and compliance with safety standards
  • Implement and maintain procedures for inventory control and cycle counts
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Work with office team to place and manage purchase orders for materials and supplies, ensuring   accurate inventory levels to support scheduling and job needs

  • Perform quality assurance checks on materials, installations, and outgoing shipments to ensure they meet company standards
  • Monitor and optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and safe operation of equipment and machinery
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Enforce company policies and safety regulations to maintain a safe and organized work environment 
  • Collaborate with leadership to forecast inventory needs and plan for peak operational periods
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on warehouse activities and performance

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics required
  • Proven leadership skills with experience supervising warehouse teams
  • Strong understanding of inventory systems, warehouse processes, and safety practices
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Prior experience in the flooring industry strongly preferred, including familiarity with crew access and scheduling 
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to perform scheduling accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
  • Proficient in warehouse management software (RFMS experience a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
