Site Receptionist
Description

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a world-class supplier of power generation services, parts, and repairs, has an immediate opening for a qualified individual with a desire to join a growing organization and an appetite for diverse, technically challenging work.

MD&A-IGT Division, Houston Service Center is seeking an experienced Receptionist who is keen on attention to detail, organized, and self-motivated, with excellent customer service skills to assist in creating a seamless, pleasant experience for all new and existing customers, guests, and visitors. The ideal candidate must have the ability to multitask, effectively prioritize requests/tasks, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. The receptionist will also manage various administrative and clerical tasks in support of on-site staff and stakeholders. 

  

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Answer and direct all incoming phone calls to the proper site staff and stakeholders. 
  • Greet and assist all office guests, visitors, and customers. 
  • Ensure site conference rooms are organized, clean, adequately stocked with required supplies, and always ready for use.
  • Purchase and properly expense office supplies and equipment and maintain stock levels.  
  • Collaborate with site stakeholders to schedule meetings, client visits, and company events. 
  • Assist in creating presentations to include management-level reports. 
  • Receive, sort, and distribute all incoming mail and packages.
  • Responsible for properly sorting, scanning, faxing, and emailing any and all pertinent site documents as needed. 
  • Create and maintain all databases associated with the facility, including, but not limited to, those for new vendors.
  • Perform other related tasks assigned by management. 


Requirements

Position Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and required overtime as required.  
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor.
  • Adhere to and practice confidentiality related to all business, customers, and site staff. 
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. 
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is highly desirable 
  • Well-versed with personal computers and software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)



Salary Description
$18.70 hr. - $24.74 hr. (DOE)
