PRINT PRODUCTION OPERATOR
Reports to: Plant Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY
This position includes organizing processes, producing and fulfilling orders, supporting the design staff, and promoting growth of the Print Shop. Adapting to changing production schedules and meeting tight deadlines are necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead in production to fulfill orders including printing, cutting, laminating, applications of media, producing signage, etc.
- Verifying correct order size, quantity, and quality of printed materials
- Receive and respond to coaching from TPS leader and PFS management team
- Demonstrate the ability to perform all assigned duties in a safe manner
- Prepares food show documentation in coordination with show date.
- Prepares all packing materials for shipment.
- Determine most efficient and effective method to ship and package product
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Performs all other duties as required and assigned

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- Ability to use, maintain, and troubleshoot various production equipment including copier, printers, laminators, fax machine, and telephone system
- Understand and embrace LEAN 5S production methodologies
- Must be able to adjust on the fly to changing situations and multitask various responsibilities on a regular basis
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- The job is done in a fast-paced environment, subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity.
- Work is performed in the company print shop where there is exposure to water-based solvents and airborne particles such as paper dust.
