What You'll Do
As a Physical Therapy Aide, you'll support therapists while helping create an exceptional experience for every patient.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists during patient treatment sessions
- Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and activities as directed
- Prepare treatment areas before and after appointments
- Maintain, clean, and organize rehabilitation equipment and rehab area
- Stock supplies and treatment areas
- Assist with patient flow
- Monitor and organize therapy equipment
- Support therapists with daily clinical operations
- Deliver exceptional customer service to every patient and visitor
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or ability to obtain
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital acute setting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to fulfill the weekend and holiday requirements
Preferred
- Previous rehabilitation, therapy clinic, or healthcare experience
