What You'll Do
Instrument Sterilization & Processing

  • Collect, clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following OSHA, CDC, and state guidelines
  • Operate sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners
  • Package and organize instruments using proper sterilization methods
  • Monitor sterilization cycles, biological indicators, and testing logs
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on sterilization equipment

Infection Control & Clinical Readiness

  • Clean and disinfect treatment rooms between patients
  • Prepare and break down procedure trays and clinical setups
  • Maintain a safe, sterile, and organized clinical environment
  • Properly handle and dispose of biohazardous waste and sharps

Inventory & Supply Management

  • Monitor inventory levels and restock sterilization supplies
  • Assist with ordering and maintaining supply inventory
  • Keep storage areas organized and efficient

Team Support

  • Ensure clinical staff have clean, sterilized instruments when needed
  • Prepare treatment setups based on daily schedules
  • Communicate proactively regarding equipment concerns or workflow delays

Compliance & Safety

  • Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, CDC, and infection control protocols
  • Stay current on required training and safety procedures
  • Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly


Requirements

 What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in dental sterilization or sterile processing preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable, organized, and able to multitask in a busy clinical environment
  • Positive attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Passion for supporting outstanding patient care
Salary Description
$20.00-$24.00 per hour
