Medical Records Clerk
Description

 The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for the efficient and accurate management of patient medical records. Key duties include proactively working through a schedule of tasks, fulfilling both incoming and outgoing medical record requests, and conducting timely and precise chart reviews. This role also involves managing the fax inbox, processing "jelly beans" (likely a reference to a specific task or system within the organization), and meticulously scanning all medical records into the digital documentation system.
 

Responsibilities:? 

  • Work schedule one week ahead 
  • Complete Outgoing Medical Records Requests 
  • Complete Incoming Medical Records Requests 
  • Complete Chart Reviews in a timely and accurate manner 
  • Work Fax Inbox 
  • Work Jelly beans 
  • Scans all Medical Records into docs 
Requirements

 Education and Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent 
  • Medical Records experience preferred 

Job Skills:?

Compensation 

Starting Hourly Pay: $16.50 per hour 

Salary based on experience- Starting pay will be determined based on the candidate's relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
