Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and strategic professional to lead accreditation management and oversee the planning and execution of professional development conferences for educators and school-based service providers.
This role ensures our organization maintains compliance and accreditation with national credentialing bodies while delivering high-quality continuing education experiences for teachers, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, social workers, school psychologists, counselors, special educators, and school administrators.
The ideal candidate has experience with continuing education requirements, regulatory compliance, and large-scale event planning.
Key Responsibilities
Accreditation & Compliance Management
- Maintain and manage provider status with national accrediting organizations, including:
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
- National Association of School Psychologists (NASP)
- National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC)
- Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB)
- Ensure all continuing education programs meet accreditation standards and ethical guidelines.
- Prepare, submit, and manage accreditation applications, renewals, annual reports, and audits.
- Monitor changes in accreditation requirements and implement necessary updates to policies and programming.
- Maintain accurate documentation of course content, learning objectives, attendance records, and evaluation data.
- Serve as primary liaison with accrediting bodies
Conference & Event Planning
- Lead planning and execution of in-person conferences, workshops, and professional learning events.
- Develop event timelines, budgets, and project plans.
- Secure venues, negotiate contracts, and coordinate vendor services.
- Recruit and manage speakers, presenters, and subject matter experts.
- Oversee CEU approval processes for all events.
- Manage registration systems, attendee communications, and on-site logistics.
- Supervise event staff and volunteers.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare outcome reports.
Program Development & Quality Assurance
- Collaborate with leadership to identify professional development needs across disciplines.
- Ensure educational content aligns with evidence-based practices and accreditation standards.
- Implement continuous quality improvement processes.
- Track attendance, participant feedback, and impact metrics.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (Education, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field).
- 3–5 years of experience in accreditation management, continuing education, compliance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience planning professional conferences or large-scale events.
- Strong knowledge of CEU processes and documentation requirements.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and regulatory requirements simultaneously.
Preferred:
- Experience working with school-based professionals or healthcare-related credentialing bodies.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and registration platforms.
- Experience preparing for audits or compliance reviews.
