About the Role
We are seeking a Provider Network Specialist to help strengthen and expand relationships throughout our local healthcare community. In this highly visible role, you will serve as a key connection between our healthcare system and physicians, medical practices, and other healthcare providers.
You will build trusted relationships with referring providers, educate them on our services and treatment options, identify opportunities to grow our provider network, and help ensure physicians have the resources and confidence they need when referring patients to our specialists.

What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with primary care and specialty physicians, medical practices, and other healthcare providers.
- Visit physician offices and healthcare practices throughout the local market to introduce and promote our services.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for providers regarding our specialists, treatments, procedures, and available services.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen existing provider relationships and develop new referral partnerships.
- Meet with referring providers to discuss patient care, referral opportunities, new treatments, and ways we can better support their practices and patients.
- Build awareness of our healthcare system and strengthen our presence within the local medical community.
- Help grow referrals and support strategic business development initiatives.
- Track outreach, relationship development, referrals, and other key performance metrics.
- Partner with the Business Development Manager to align outreach efforts with organizational goals.
- Participate in community outreach, educational events, public relations initiatives, and provider awareness campaigns.
- Represent the organization professionally and serve as a positive ambassador within the healthcare community.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Previous healthcare sales, physician relations, business development, or provider outreach experience preferred.
- General understanding of healthcare and medical services, with the ability to quickly learn our specialties, treatments, and procedures.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Professional, confident, and comfortable interacting with physicians and healthcare leaders.
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple relationships and priorities.
- Willingness to travel throughout the local market and visit provider offices.
Compensation & Incentives
$60,000–$65,000 base salary plus a performance-based incentive plan.
The incentive plan is tied to measurable business outcomes and provides an opportunity to earn additional compensation based on performance and results.
