Used Car Manager (Pre-Owned Sales & Inventory) — Mike Calvert Toyota

Mike Calvert Toyota, part of the Vaughan Automotive Group, is growing — again! Our group has just added another dealership to the family, and recent internal promotions have opened up an exciting leadership opportunity right here in our used car department. We're looking for an experienced Used Car Manager to take the reins of our pre-owned inventory, drive profitability, and build a high-performing used car team as our group continues to expand.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who knows how to buy right, price smart, turn inventory fast, and lead a team to hit their numbers — all while joining a dealership group with real momentum and real room to grow.

What You'll Do

• Oversee acquisition, appraisal, and valuation of used vehicle inventory (trade-ins, auction, and wholesale purchases)
• Set and adjust used vehicle pricing strategy based on market trends, aging, and competitor data
• Manage the reconditioning process to get vehicles frontline-ready quickly and cost-effectively
• Monitor inventory turn rate, aging units, and gross profit to hit department targets
• Lead, coach, and hold accountable the used car sales team
• Oversee wholesale and auction decisions for aged or non-retail units
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and service departments to keep inventory and deals moving
• Manage floor plan and inventory financing
• Ensure compliance with dealership policy and state regulations for used vehicle sales
• Use inventory management and pricing tools (such as vAuto, KBB, or Black Book) to guide decisions

 What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Used Car Manager or in a similar dealership leadership role required
• Previous Finance experience required (at least 2 years)
• Strong understanding of used vehicle valuation, appraisal, and pricing strategy
• Strong negotiation, leadership, and team management skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proficiency with dealership inventory and DMS software
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, numbers-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Toyota brand experience preferred
• Experience with vAuto or similar inventory management/pricing tools
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
