Aileron Management is looking for an HR Generalist to join their dynamic team in downtown Greenville, SC. This position works in the office Monday - Thursday and is remote on Fridays.
The Job
The HR Generalist is responsible for maintaining the HRIS, providing administrative support to the HR department, and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
Job Duties
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and timely for all hourly and salaried employees
- Work with HRIS vendor to correct any HRIS issues.
- Manage and troubleshoot EDI feeds with HRIS vendor and benefit carrier.
- Coordinate the selection and hiring process.
- Post positions and coordinate pre-employment process in applicant tracking system.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding process.
- Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed accurately and timely within the HRIS.
- Maintain electronic employee records in HRIS.
- Responsible for accurate HRIS data entry and updates.
- Assist employees with HRIS employee experience.
- Optimize applicant tracking system and HRIS functionality.
- Train managers on how to use the applicant tracking system and HRIS.
- Audit HRIS for data and compliance issues and update accordingly.
- Respond to employment and payroll related questions, escalating to management when necessary.
- Coordinate mass emails and mailings.
- Assist with setting up new locations in HRIS.
- Register for state tax and unemployment accounts for new locations.
- Assist with annual open enrollment activities.
- Assist with annual compliance requirements
- Assist with coordination of special events.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department.

- At least 1 or more years of payroll processing experience for more than 100 employees.
- High School Diploma required.
- Undergraduate degree in HR-related field or Accounting preferred.
- Working knowledge of HR Information Systems.
- Experience with Paylocity preferred.
- Familiarity with and knowledge of employment laws required.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
