Are you a proven leader with fiber construction experience? We're looking for a Network Technical Foreman to oversee field operations, guide and develop crews, ensure quality and safety compliance, and help drive the successful completion of underground fiber network projects.


What You’ll Do

Key responsibilities include:

· Monitor crew performance, productivity, and quality of work.

· Provide training, guidance, and support to technicians and equipment operators.

· Verify utility locates and ensure excavation activities are performed safely.

· Coordinate daily activities with project managers, inspectors, utility providers, and customers.

· Ensure construction work remains on schedule and meets project deadlines.

· Supervise underground fiber installation, including trenching and directional boring operations.

· Oversee conduit installation, handhole placement, fiber placement, and restoration activities.

· Ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

· Track equipment usage and coordinate maintenance needs to minimize downtime.

· Manage inventory levels and ensure materials are available to support planned work.

· Conduct field inspections to verify workmanship, cable placement, and installation accuracy.

· Review redline drawings and as-built documentation for completeness and accuracy.

· Identify and resolve field issues to support successful project completion and closeout.

· Enforce OSHA, company, and customer safety policies on all job sites.


What We’re Looking For

To be considered for this role, you'll need the following required qualifications:

  • Fiber optic construction knowledge
  • Directional drilling and underground utility experience
  • Blueprint and construction print reading
  • Leadership and crew management
  • OSHA safety compliance
  • Utility locating and damage prevention
  • Communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

· Strong knowledge of fiber optic construction methods, materials, and industry standards.

· Experience with directional drilling, trenching, and underground utility construction.

· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, prints, and engineering designs.

· Proven leadership skills with experience supervising and developing field crews.

· Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

· Understanding of utility locating requirements and damage prevention best practices.

· Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

· Proficiency in coordinating multiple projects, crews, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
