The EPIC Treasury Supervisor we are looking for:
Reporting to the Director of Treasury , The Treasury Supervisor will oversee daily treasury operations for the company’s loan funding, settlement, cash management, and payment infrastructure activities. This role is responsible for managing the company’s Banking-as-a-Service relationship, ensuring timely and accurate daily loan fundings and settlements, maintaining strong cash positioning discipline, and supervising wire and ACH transaction workflows. The Treasury Supervisor will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Product, and external banking partners to support scalable, controlled, and reliable treasury operations in a high-volume fintech lending environment.
As a Treasury Supervisor , you will:
- Banking-as-a-Service Relationship Management: Serve as a primary treasury point of contact for the company’s Banking-as-a-Service partner, monitoring service levels, operational performance, issue resolution, reporting requirements, and escalation workflows.
- Loan Funding and Settlement Operations: Oversee daily loan funding and settlement activity, ensuring funds are disbursed accurately, timely, and in accordance with policies, procedures, bank requirements, and provider payment timelines.
- Daily Cash Positioning: Prepare, review, and manage daily cash positions across operating, funding, settlement, and reserve accounts to ensure sufficient liquidity for loan fundings, settlements, returns, fees, and operating needs.
- Wire and ACH Oversight: Supervise daily wire and ACH transaction activity, including approvals, release procedures, exception handling, returns, reversals, rejects, and reconciliation support.
- Payment Infrastructure Management: Support the maintenance and improvement of treasury payment infrastructure, including bank portals, user access, approval matrices, payment files, controls, and related operational workflows.
- Reconciliations and Reporting: Partner with Accounting and Operations to support daily and monthly reconciliations, cash reporting, settlement reporting, bank fee review, and variance analysis.
- Controls and Compliance: Maintain strong internal controls, segregation of duties, authorization protocols, documentation standards, and audit readiness for cash movement, payment processing, and bank account activity.
- Risk and Exception Management: Identify, investigate, and resolve funding, settlement, cash position, bank operations, and payment exceptions; escalate risks and recurring issues with recommended remediation actions.
- Process Improvement: Develop and refine treasury procedures, dashboards, reporting tools, and workflows to improve automation, scalability, accuracy, and service-level performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Accounting, Loan Operations, Compliance, Risk, Product, Engineering, and external financial institutions to support new products, payment changes, audits, and operational initiatives.
- Team Supervision: Supervise, coach, and develop treasury operations staff, including prioritizing daily work, reviewing outputs, documenting procedures, and supporting performance and career development.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in treasury operations, cash management, banking operations, payments, lending operations, or financial services operations.
- 2+ years of supervisory, team lead, or process ownership experience.
- Hands-on experience with ACH, wire transfers, bank portals, payment approvals, cash positioning, bank reconciliations, and exception management.
- Strong understanding of treasury controls, segregation of duties, payment authorization protocols, and operational risk management.
- Experience working with banks, payment processors, fintech platforms, lending systems, or Banking-as-a-Service providers.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with daily cash and payment dependencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain treasury issues to cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fintech, consumer lending, healthcare finance, dental financing, or other regulated financial services environments.
- Experience managing daily funding and settlement operations for loan originations, merchant/provider payments, or marketplace lending platforms.
- Familiarity with NACHA rules, payment returns, ACH risk controls, bank account structures, and payment file processing.
- Experience with treasury management systems, ERP systems, banking APIs, file transmission processes, or payment automation tools.
- Certified Treasury Professional designation or progress toward certification.
- Experience supporting audits, SOC controls, compliance examinations, or bank partner reviews.

- Payment workflows, user access, and approval controls remain compliant, documented, and audit-ready.
- Treasury procedures and reporting tools improve scalability, transparency, and operational resilience.
