Role

Furlani Foods is seeking a Plant Project Engineer to lead local capital projects from concept through startup. The Plant Project Engineer will also support annual capital planning and help identify opportunities to improve manufacturing operations across all facilities. 


Key Responsibilities:

· Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and execution plans.

· Coordinate equipment suppliers, contractors, plant teams, and engineering resources.

· Provide engineering support to Operations and Maintenance teams.

· Assist with troubleshooting manufacturing and utility systems.

· Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.

· Work with plant teams to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

· Travel required: Specifically, but not limited to within North America and Europe.

Requirements

 Qualifications

· Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, food production, engineering, or capital project management.

· Experience managing equipment installations and capital projects.

· AutoCAD or similar design software experience.

· Good understanding of manufacturing processes and plant operations.

· Solid problem solving and decision-making skills, sense of urgency, attention to detail, organization, ability to execute multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
