Position Overview:
OGD Overhead Garage Door is seeking a motivated and dependable Residential Installer to join our team. In this position, you will install new garage doors and openers in customers' homes, ensuring every job is completed safely, correctly, and with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Install residential garage doors, tracks, springs, and openers according to manufacturer specifications and company safety standards
- Travel to customer homes to complete scheduled installations in a timely and professional manner
- Inspect completed installations to confirm proper operation, alignment, and safety before leaving the job site
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Maintain a high level of customer service throughout each job
- Load, unload, and transport doors, openers, and installation equipment safely
- Follow all company safety protocols and procedures
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and ladders up to 8 feet
- Remove and haul away old garage doors and equipment
- Maintain accurate job documentation and work order updates
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Must have 1+ years of hands-on experience installing residential overhead garage doors (required)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to work at heights, including ladders, lifts, and elevated work platforms
- Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, and standing
- Repetitive use of hands, wrists, and arms while performing installation tasks
- Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs. and climbing ladders
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions
