Floor Supervisor

** $23 - $25 p/ hour **


SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of the floor Supervisor will be to support the Production Manager with planning, organizing, and controlling all production activities to ensure goods are produced safely, cost effectively, timely, and to the required quality standards as set forth by the company. Additionally, the Floor Supervisor will serve as a backup in the event the Production Manager is not available. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs the following responsibilities in accordance with VoidForm policies and procedures, work rules, expectations, and behavior standards:

  • Support production by creating and monitoring production schedules.
  • Reports any issues with materials or production to the management team.
  • Trains current and new employees on various machines and job functions
  • Assists in opening and closing the warehouse or facilities as needed.
  • Enforces lunch and break policies in accordance with company policies.
  • conducts bi-weekly supply inventories on various materials. 
  • Support by managing and controlling inventory levels of both raw materials and finished products by performing daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts.
  • Support by providing accurate and timely weekly and monthly inventory reports to the Operations Director
  • Support by ensuring warehouse staff conduct their work in a safe, efficient, and responsible manner.
  • Support by monitoring employee performance, providing employee reviews and implementing changes as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned based on experience, skills, and business needs.
Requirements

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Training, and Experience Required)

  • Required: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: 2-year associate degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including excel, Outlook, and Teams.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Manufacturing and/or construction management experience
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet objectives.
  • General Office skills

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal to high volumes of stress.
