Description

The Vice President of Regional Onboarding & Pipeline Management oversees the end-to-end mortgage loan lifecycle – from application through closing – ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This role monitors pipeline performance, optimizes team workflows, and proactively identifies and resolves bottlenecks to support timely closings. In addition, the Vice President serves as the primary liaison for new hires across all onboarding functions, ensuring a seamless transition and consistent onboarding experience. The role also provides ongoing support and coaching on TFSB processing systems to ensure new team members are fully enabled for success.


Please note that if the hired applicant resides a commutable distance from a Loan Production Office (LPO), they may be required to work a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite/2 days remote).


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison between sales & mortgage operations with regards to optimizing workflow
  • Onboard, share TFSB resources, and provide assistance to new bankers in the processing of their loans
  • Work with operations teams to ensure loans are processed according to TFSB production standards
  • Partner with underwriting, sales, and other operations leaders to identify process gaps, improve cross-functional communication, and streamline workflows from loan submission through final approval.
  • Provide floor support and coaching, serving as a subject matter expert for complex scenarios — including income and asset documentation, verification procedures, appraisal coordination, and third-party communication.
  • Management of active loan pipeline to ensure closing dates are met
  • NQM expert with the investors and TFSB internally
  • Supporting bankers and their frustration with hard stops – especially locking loans, UDR issues, margins, & relocking and extending loans
Requirements

Experience:

  • 10+ years in mortgage sales or up-front operations
  • Supervisory/management experience
  • 5 +  years Processing experience
  • Mortgage Banker/Sales experience
  • Versed in all types of mortgage loans

Technology:

  • Encompass loan origination software (required)
  • Automated Underwriting systems DU & LP (required)
  • Proficient with Blend for mortgage originators (preferred)
  • Optimal Blue pricing engine (preferred)
  • Approve You or other AI underwriting software (preferred)
  • DOMO or similar data visualization software
  • Excel

Education:

  • 4-year college degree or commensurate experience

Compensation:

  • Annual base salary: $85,000 - $105,000 + monthly bonus incentive
  • Hired applicant will be eligible for a monthly incentive tied to team production and achieving outlined goals
