About the Position


The HR Coordinator supports the Bevara Human Resources team by managing the employee onboarding experience, coordinating new hire orientations and safety training, maintaining HR reporting and HRMIS data integrity, assisting with sourcing and recruiting efforts, and contributing to broader HR projects and initiatives. 


The HR Coordinator will be a key point of contact for new and current employees, ensuring a smooth, professional, and compliant HR experience from candidate sourcing through day-to-day employment.  


Onboarding

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork, background checks, and pre-employment requirements are completed accurately and on time.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires prior to and during their first weeks, answering questions and setting expectations.
  • Coordinate with IT, Facilities, and hiring managers to ensure equipment, workspace, system access, and credentials are ready before start date.
  • Track onboarding completion and follow up on outstanding items to ensure compliance.

Day 1 Coordination

  • Plan and execute Day 1 logistics for new employees, including welcome materials, workspace setup, badge/access provisioning, and introductions.
  • Act as the on-site or virtual host for new hires, ensuring a positive and organized first-day experience.
  • Coordinate schedules with managers and teams to ensure a smooth transition into the role.

HR Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain regular HR reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, time-to-fill, training completion, compliance metrics) for leadership and department stakeholders.
  • Ensure data accuracy across reporting sources and flag discrepancies for resolution.
  • Support ad hoc reporting requests from HR leadership, finance, or operations teams.

Orientations

  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate new hire orientation sessions covering company policies, culture, benefits, and expectations.
  • Continuously improve orientation content and delivery based on feedback and evolving company needs.
  • Coordinate presenters, materials, and logistics for orientation sessions.

Safety Training

  • Schedule and track completion of required safety training and certifications for new and current employees.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety training compliance and generate reminders for renewals.
  • Partner with Safety/Operations teams to ensure training content stays current with regulatory and company requirements.

Sourcing / Recruiting

  • Support the recruiting process by sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, and internal databases.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Schedule interviews, coordinate with hiring managers, and maintain communication with candidates throughout the process.
  • Help maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future openings.

HRMIS Administration

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HRMIS/HRIS platform.
  • Process employee data changes (new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, compensation updates) in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support system audits, data clean-up projects, and troubleshoot user issues within the HRMIS.
  • Assist with system upgrades, testing, and rollout of new HRMIS features or modules.

HR Projects

  • Participate in cross-functional HR initiatives such as policy updates, engagement surveys, process improvement projects, and compliance audits.
  • Assist in the development and rollout of HR programs and communications.
  • Support special projects as assigned by HR leadership
Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in an HR coordinator, generalist, or related support role.
  • Familiarity with HRMIS/HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, PowerPoint/Slides).
Salary Description
$50,000 to $55,000
