 Duprey Hospitality is seeking a polished, results-driven Catering & Events Sales Manager to lead revenue growth.  This is a true sales role for someone who thrives on building relationships, closing business, and delivering an elevated guest experience from first inquiry to final toast. If you are a self-motivated hospitality professional who wants to grow into a sales position, we want to hear from you.


What You'll Do: Business Development & Revenue Generation

  • Prospect, solicit, negotiate, and close new business across corporate, social, and community market segments
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through outbound efforts, networking, client appointments, and industry engagement
  • Maximize revenue opportunities across catering, private events, meeting space, and venue offerings
  • Identify target accounts and develop strategies to drive new and repeat business
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and local demand generators to uncover new opportunities
  • Network actively across the local market to build awareness and referral relationships for all Duprey Hospitality properties
  • Cross-sell opportunities across the full portfolio. 

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, schools, campuses, and community organizations
  • Conduct compelling venue tours and presentations that showcase the Duprey Hospitality experience
  • Manage the full sales process from initial inquiry through flawless execution
  • Drive repeat business through proactive account management and genuine relationship building

Sales Operations & Collaboration

  • Respond to leads and inquiries promptly with a high standard of service
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, presentations, and sales materials
  • Maintain accurate client activity and forecasts within Salesforce
  • Participate in sales meetings, revenue strategy discussions, and performance reviews
  • Partner with Operations, Culinary, and Marketing teams to deliver seamless, memorable events
  • Serve as a market-facing sales resource, sharing insights that support broader team success
Requirements

 What We're Looking For

  • Prior experience in sales, catering, hospitality, events, or a related customer-facing field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across phone, email, and in person
  • A polished, professional presence with genuine hospitality instincts
  • Comfort and confidence in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment
  • Reliable transportation for client visits and property/site tours
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, spreadsheets, and standard business tools
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through on every order and event
  • Existing relationships with local businesses, schools, campuses, or event planners are a strong plus
  • Experience creating proposals, managing event details, and coordinating with operations teams
