Nebraska Cancer Specialists is the regional leader in cancer diagnosis, treatment and research and we are searching for a Finance Manager to join our incredible team! This position will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department functions and staff with a focus on ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting.
What will you do?
- Provides direction and leadership to the accounting department.
- Updates and maintains accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions.
- Manage general ledger review and prepare month end entries, allocation and financial reports.
- Assists with annual audits. (401K & Work Comp).
- Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
- Researches issues and concerns with minimal supervision.
- Communicates clearly and collaboratively with employees, patients and vendors providing excellent customer service.
- Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, however experience will be taken into consideration.
- Three years accounts payable experience preferred.
- Healthcare experience is preferred.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization.
