General Job Summary

The Quality Testing Analyst will have an understanding of our vision and use this knowledge to review automation projects, workflows, and processes to verify systems are working correctly. In addition, use this to bring solutions to enhance the day-to-day workflow and productivity. He/she will also collaborate to understand new functionality, new tools, and overall impact to ULG.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Monitor and complete all testing that ULG is responsible for, communicating directly with LOS admins to solve issues and ensure projects deploy timely. 
  • Act as a liaison between the LOS Administration team, to help provide guidance and support for other projects that impact the ULG LOS workflow. 
  • Compile, analyze, and document business requirements to request LOS projects specific to workflow improvements and remediate issues.
  • Assist with providing detailed system process updates for manuals, announcements, and processes.
  • Review and test system updates and changes to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved.
  • Identify and remedy issues within the testing process to improve quality and meet organization quality standards.
  • Assist in implementing improvements to the workflow of the loan origination process utilizing the LOS platform to the greatest extent.

Requirements

Education, Training and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. 
  • 2+ years of experience in mortgage industry highly preferred. 
  • 2+ years of experience in loan processes from point of sale through servicing and secondary highly preferred. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Maintain & foster positive relationships with customers and business partners.
  • Able to make proactive recommendations.
  • Complete all assigned training in a timely manner.
  • Provide professional communication in both oral & written expression.
  • Organizational skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while maintaining high degree of accuracy.
  • Detailed understanding mortgage banking operations, workflow, and processes.
  • Knowledge of mortgage and banking regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to seek out and offer business-oriented solutions.
  • Experience supporting business use of software products. (Encompass HIGHLY preferred).
  • Project management experience.
  • Proactively seeks feedback on performance and makes changes accordingly.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Takes ownership for the successful completion of projects and tasks.
  • Able to work productively with others to ensure the successful completion of assignments.
  • Represents the Bank in a professional and responsible manner at all times.

Working Environment

Primary working environment is within an indoor climate-controlled office space and/or a private home office or some combination which will be at managements sole discretion. Employee may be subject to florescent lighting, dust, and other normal indoor allergens. Employee may work in close proximity of coworkers and occasionally independently in quiet environments.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Travel by foot in outdoor environments where it can slippery/etc.
  • May be exposed to extended periods of interaction with others (listening/talking/taking notes).
  • Extended periods of sitting (at computer desk).
  • Complete repetitive tasks (including operation of computer mouse/keyboard).

Target wage for this role is $50-$60/hour.
