* This position is contingent upon a future opening with Gunnison.
Salary: $150,000 - $165,000/year
Work location: Hybrid, 2-3 days per week on-site in Bethesda, MD.
- Serve as primary interface with the CIT COR and CISO, providing program-level reporting (Weekly Program Report, Weekly Resource Utilization and Milestone Report, Monthly Program Report, and invoicing).
- Lead Cybersecurity Governance activities: coordinate, schedule, and facilitate weekly meetings with CIT Service Areas on remediation status, cybersecurity project status, and compliance issues, including developing agendas, tracking action items, capturing risks, building project schedules, and maintaining a lessons-learned/best-practices repository.
- Support OCIO working groups and represent the contractor team in cross-agency cybersecurity coordination.
- Provide Strategic Support: monitor performance against the ISP Strategic Plan, contribute to the Annual ISP Strategic Plan, and deliver quarterly recommendations to CIT leadership.
- Own Program Support tasks including Strategic Initiatives Support and administration of the ISP SharePoint site (content lifecycle, access/permissions management, organizing by subject matter/audience).
- Manage Special Projects/Optional Tasks and coordinate surge labor staffing as directed by the Government.
- Supervise contract personnel directly — day-to-day work assignments, performance monitoring, coverage, payroll records, and leave approval (the SOW explicitly states contract staff cannot be supervised by CIT government managers, so this falls to the contractor PM/Team Lead).
- Manage Standard Operating Procedures and Enterprise Templates, and ensure all Task Area 1 deliverables meet quality standards, correcting non-conforming deliverables.
- Propose and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) governing cybersecurity support services, subject to Government review/approval.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience managing cybersecurity, IT security, RMF, or enterprise IT programs.
- Experience must include enterprise IT systems, cloud environments, and network security; leading teams of IT/cybersecurity consultants; managing project schedules, risks, action items, deliverables, and customer communications; and operating in fast-paced, high-visibility environments.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in cybersecurity, information assurance, information systems, computer science, computer engineering, network engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
- PMP, CISSP, and ITIL certifications required.
Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in cybersecurity, information assurance, computer science, information systems, engineering, business administration, or a related field
- Cloud-based or other network-related certifications
The salary range for this position depends upon multiple factors including location, the individual's knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and contract-specific budget constraints and organizational requirements.
