Job Title: Food & Beverage Supervisor – Front of House

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00/hr., based on skills and experience.

Summary
Reporting to the Food and Beverage Director, the Front of House Supervisor is the front-line provider of excellent guest hospitality and ensures smooth and efficient Front of House food and beverage operations. They are responsible for maintaining the highest level of guest service and upholding Loveland hospitality standards. They will manage the front of house staff and investigate and resolve guest complaints. They will assist with training front and back of house personnel and motivating staff to provide excellent guest experiences. They will be responsible for holding their team accountable for upholding company standards and policies. This position oversees all daily cash handling procedures, the grab-and-go and retail food programs, dining area cleanliness, and Front of House employee and guest safety. Every employee is responsible for providing a positive experience for our guests and employees, with safety and fun as our top priorities.
Essential Functions
- Oversee and direct daily Food & Beverage Front House Staff operations and deployment to include: upholding team member performance expectations, opening and closing, deploy daily staff as appropriate for business needs, maintaining acceptable queue times and high guest service standards;
- Coordinate daily grab-and-go and retail food preparation and assist in execution, safe food handling and guest service during meal periods;
- Maintain industry standard food safety and employee safety standards and monitor for compliance;
- Maintain all dining area and Front of House cleanliness to Company and Health Department standards within all Basin Lodge F&B outlets;
- Maintain high level of guest service and hospitality and effect successful guest recovery;
- Controls company financial assets through accurate POS use and cash handling, counting and making of daily deposits, following company POS and cash handling policies and procedures, and training Front of House staff on proper execution of job duties;
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Education and/or Experience;
- At least 2 years in a high-volume food service environment;
- At least 1 year in a supervisory capacity;
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Colorado driver’s license, with an acceptable driving record;
- Ability to successfully pass background screening;
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, ServSafe Food Protection Manager certificate;
- Ability to step in to perform all duties of any Front of House position in the F&B outlets at any time, flexibility to move between leader and line level responsibilities quickly;
- Ability to take initiative to resolve day-to-day operation issues;
- Proficiency in front of house kitchen operations and guest hospitality;
- Ability to stand for extended periods;
- Withstand extreme hot and cold temperatures as found in typical kitchen environments;
- Winter outdoor work may be required, i.e. snow shoveling, loading/unloading delivery trucks, etc.
- Advanced office computer skills required including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and typical business computer applications.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English- speak and understand verbal and written communications;
- Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.
- Must have understanding of general health department regulations;
- Must be at least 18 years old.
