The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for managing all inbound material receipts and ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of incoming goods into the warehouse and manufacturing operation. This role works closely with Purchasing, Inventory Control, Production, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure material availability, maintain inventory accuracy, and support uninterrupted production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Receive, inspect, and process all inbound shipments, including raw materials, purchased components, consumables, and non-inventory items.
· Verify received quantities and documentation against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
· Accurately enter receiving transactions into SAP and Modula WMS systems.
· Coordinate unloading and staging of incoming materials while ensuring proper identification and storage.
· Perform initial visual inspections of received materials and escalate any discrepancies or quality concerns.
· Generate and process Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and coordinate with Quality and Purchasing departments as needed.
· Ensure all received materials are properly labeled and traceable according to company procedures.
· Maintain accurate records of receipts, shortages, overages, damaged goods, and vendor discrepancies.
· Monitor daily receiving activities to ensure timely material availability for production and warehouse operations.
· Communicate receiving issues and material shortages proactively with Purchasing, Planning, and Production teams.
· Coordinate with carriers and suppliers to resolve shipment discrepancies and transportation issues.
· Support inventory accuracy through cycle count participation and inventory audits as required.
· Maintain receiving area organization and ensure compliance with 5S standards.
· Operate material handling equipment and Modula Lift systems safely and efficiently.
· Perform material movement transactions within Modula WMS and SAP.
· Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and operating procedures.
· Maintain a neat, clean, and safe working environment.
· Assist with month-end and year-end inventory activities.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on receiving efficiency, inventory integrity, and material flow.
· Ability to extract and interpret reports from ERP/MRP systems.

This position will oversee and process inbound materials at our Franklin, Ohio facility. A successful candidate must be highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and capable of working independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and have experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preference will be given to candidates with at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or receiving environment.
· Experience in receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, or manufacturing environments.
· Experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP preferred).
· Strong understanding of receiving procedures and inventory transaction processes.
· Knowledge of shipping and receiving documentation, including packing slips, bills of lading, and purchase orders.
· Experience investigating and resolving receiving discrepancies.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
· Ability to prioritize workload and manage competing demands.
· Knowledge of manufacturing material flow and inventory management principles.
· Understanding of industry terminology related to receiving and quality processes (PO, NCR, RMA, etc.).
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and electronically.
· Experience operating warehouse equipment and material handling devices preferred.
