Position Overview:

Internal transfer driver is responsible for safely operating STI vehicles while delivering products and equipment to other STI locations. They are fueled by dedication and play a critical role in upholding our reputation for exceeding our customers’ expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Responsible for delivering internally transferred products from the distribution center to the surrounding local STI locations

· Loading and unloading products and equipment on trucks, flatbed trailers or truck racking

· Endure timely delivery and/or pickup of products and/or equipment to and from STI locations

· Operate vehicles in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations

· Maintain vehicles by conducting daily inspections for maintenance needs, licensing and registration expirations and reporting any deficiencies to the management

· Assist with warehouse duties- pulling orders, stocking inventory, maintaining the yard

· Additional tasks that are needed

Required Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 2+ years of non-commercial driving experience

· Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions

· An aptitude for delivering top-notch customer service experience

· Ability to pass and maintain hiring standards- background, MVR, drug testing for insurance standards

· Capable of routinely lifting or moving inventory weighing up to 75 pounds
