Position Purpose
Under the general direction of Nuclear Planning, the incumbent will be responsible for monitoring nuclear jobs to determine current scheduling conflicts, materials shortages and late processing. Then, after coordinating with planning updating the current released and unreleased jobs in Excel and update the jobs in the company’s ERP system.
Essential Job Functions (primary duties and outputs of position)
- Monitor released job orders on the floor to determine parts shortages and delays.
- Provide updates from shop floor supervisors to Nuclear planning.
- Coordinate with planning then update completion schedule updates in Excel.
- After coordination with planning, update ERP system for jobs that are going to complete earlier or later than planned.
- Work with manufacturing to identify production and materials issues.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Employees are responsible to understand and support the quality policy and the appropriate elements of the quality management system for their areas of work, reduce, eliminate, and prevent quality deficiencies including escapes.
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities related to product, process, and quality system.
- All employees have the responsibility and authority to identify quality deficiencies, elevate any concerns for action within or related to our quality system and processes.
Communication
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Maintain effective and constructive working relationships with others both internally and externally.
Education/Work Experience Requirements
- Basic knowledge of MRP systems, Syteline preferred.
- Ability to work within specific timelines.
- Must be able to interact effectively with others in the manufacturing and quality groups.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Work is performed in a manufacturing and production environment with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, hand tools, and test equipment.
- May involve exposure to electrical components, adhesives, solvents, and potting materials, with appropriate safety controls and required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Noise levels are generally moderate and may vary based on production activity.
- Work may be performed while standing or sitting at an assembly workstation for extended periods.
- Requires repetitive use of hands and wrists for assembly, testing, inspection, and material handling tasks.
- Requires fine motor skills, manual dexterity, and the ability to use hand tools and test instruments with precision.
- Requires the ability to bend, reach, walk, and move for extended periods of time within the work area as needed throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Requires the ability to visually inspect small components, read drawings, labels, and computer screens, with or without corrective lenses.
